Aging-in-Place Services
Most of us would like to safely stay in our homes for the rest of our lives.
There are lots of reasons to age-in-place instead of going to an assisted living or skilled nursing facility: staying independent; keeping all of our possessions; having pets; minimizing the emotional effects of change; and maintaining a lower cost of living.
The question is how to stay in your home safely as you age.
To really answer that question & implement solutions we have assembled a team of “aging-in-place” experts: interior designers (ASID); lighting practitioners; home inspectors; handymen; organizers; and social workers that understand the needs of seniors & their life changes.
They know how to balance safety & lifestyle needs with: downsizing; transitioning into a new home; multi-generational living; modifying an existing home using Universal Design principles to meet physical changes; budgets; and timeline constraints.
After all we spend 87% of our lives inside buildings. How our homes are designed and function affects how we feel; how we behave; & our emotional & physical wellbeing. It’s more than just how things look.
